Communication
The Staff and Committee of Crowmarsh Pre-School recognise the need for good communication. There are several ways in which you can follow your child’s development and contact us.
Tapestry
Our staff will be making regular observations of your child’s learning and development. This progress is documented online via Tapestry, a computer program that allows our practitioners to share observations in a secure form. Parents can access the Tapestry program and review observations, even adding comments if they wish too. Additionally, parents can contribute by sharing information about what your child likes to do at home and any special adventures they have been on. Parents will be given information on how to log in to Tapestry during the first weeks of their Pre-School journey.
White Board
Each days activities are written on the white board situated at the Pre-School entrance. This gives a brief summary of what the children have been doing during the day.
Drop Off & Pick Up
Whilst this is always a busy time, staff will always take a minute to catch you if needed. Parents can of course mention any concerns before or after sessions. Please make an appointment to discuss issues privately or more fully.
Pigeon Holes
There can be lots of useful information found in your child’s pigeon hole as well as artwork.
Newsletter
Our newsletters will be emailed to you. They are also published on our website.
Crowmarsh Pre-School has two facebook pages; a public one (Crowmarsh Pre-School) and a closed group (Parents & Carers of Crowmarsh Pre-School). These groups provide useful information not only about what is happening at Pre-School but also in the wider Pre-School community.
Committee Notice Board
As the name suggests this board will provide you with all committee related information. Please keep an eye on this board as it will update you on fundraising events throughout the year and any other important information.
Feedback
We welcome feedback throughout the year: please do email or speak to a member of staff or one of the committee.
Complaints
We anticipate that most concerns will be resolved quickly after speaking to a Pre-School supervisor or Co-Chair. However, if you would like to make a complaint in writing please ask for a complaints form so that we can ensure your concerns are dealt with swiftly and provide a satisfactory outcome.
