Friday 6th November

We have had a very busy week in Class 4!

We will be using ‘The Firework Maker’s Daughter’ by Phillip Pullman as our main text in English and reading this term. So far we have read the first chapter and we have been thinking about the characters and what happens in the story. We have been working on identifying and using adverbs in our writing as well as thinking about which adverb question is being answered.

Our maths work has focussed on rounding numbers to the nearest 1000 and counting in 25’s.

On Wednesday the children all did some amazing firework artwork based around a quote from ‘The Firework Maker’s Daughter’.

Today we used the laptops to start a project making maze games in Scratch.

Thank you to everyone who has emailed their consent for Seesaw to be trialled in Year 4. I am hoping to get some more information out to you next week.
