We’ve had a fantastic first few days back already. The children all seem eager and excited to be in their new classrooms with their new teachers and you can truly feel the ‘Crowmarsh buzz’. There are many new faces this year and we hope you help us welcome each and every one of them. Our new reception class has already attended their very first collective worship and have settled right into the routine of being in school.
In our first collective worship, I have asked everyone to set themselves three challenges for the year. We talked about goals and building resilience when we make mistakes – this is now a part of our ethos. So, what will your three challenges be for the year?
We have an amazing team here at Crowmarsh and we are all looking forward to what this year will bring.
We have a simple vision, as succinctly stated by Spencer and Juliani in their book, Empower – “Our job is not to prepare students for something; our job is to help students prepare themselves for anything.”
So, let’s work together to ensure our pupils are ready for everything that life throws their way.
Welcome to a brand new school year!
