Do you know what a “tricky” word is?
The children have been reading tricky words within sentences, such as, to, the, go, no & I. We have also been writing simple captions.
In maths we have been finding the total number of items in two groups by counting all of them. We have been learning by the mistakes and have shared our findings by talking about how we tackled the problems presented.
The children have been thinking about how we could turn our role play area into a factory. We searched the internet to discover more information about factories and it has inspired lots of conversations and fabulous vocabulary. It is a work in progress.
The children have the next set of letter cards and tricky word cards in their bags tonight. Please carry on practising all phonics along with reading and opportunities to count groups of objects to create a total.
Have a lovely weekend from The Class R team.
