Christmas has arrived in Class R! We are busy rehearsing our Nativity and learning the words to the all the songs. You should have received a letter informing you which role your child has in the Nativity, together with details of his/her base costume. Please could these be in class, in a named bag, by the end of next week (Monday 3rd December).
A big “Thank you” to all of you who came to our Magical Maths morning on Tuesday. Hopefully, you had a great time with your child exploring new ways of learning maths. We have been looking at ways of adding two numbers to find out ”how many altogether”, learning that altogether means we have to count all the items in front of us.
We have been learning about animal families: mammals, birds, fish, reptiles and amphibians. We have been looking at the main criteria for each family. Did you know that mammals have fur or hair and amphibians can live on land and in water?
