Apprenticeship Early Years

We want to invest in the right candidate. We want to support the right candidate to complete an Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship. This is an opportunity to work in our Pre School whilst completing a Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS Practitioner qualification.

30+hrs a week. 

Our Pre School is open 8:30 -3:15pm Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

Starting salary £16,954 - £23.656 depending on apprenticeship course. Increasing after probation period completed

In our Pre School we provide manageable challenges and relaxed environment so that our three year olds develop the confidence and skills to think and act for themselves. Before they go to reception, we make sure children have a knowledge of the below areas: Communication and language, Physical Development, Personal, social and emotional development, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, Expressive arts and Design

The main responsibilities of this job role will include:
* Working towards Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
* Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
* Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun.
* Being a team player.
* Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children
* Taking part in First Aid training as required
* Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery
* Working with teams across the setting
* Supporting children’s learning and development.
* Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
* Supporting children’s self-help needs.
* Being creative and enthusiastic.
* Following Safeguarding rules and regulations to also meet the Standard of the Childcare Apprenticeship.

Your Apprenticeship will last for 12 months. You will be supported by Lead Support Coaches throughout your Apprenticeship, as well as a mentor within the Pre School. You will be working full time in the Pre School.

You will hold (or compete alongside) Maths and English GCSE at Grade 4 or above or equivalent Functional Skills Level 2 and be living in the UK for a minimum of 3 years in order to be eligible.

January  2024 Start

We are looking for an Early Years Practitioner, Level 3. You will be part of the EYFS team working with our Pre School/Nursery children. You will need to have a genuine love of working with children, be motivated & reliable. As a keyworker, you will ensure every individual child’s needs are met line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps.

8:30 -3:15pm Monday to Friday

Grade 4, point 4 £24.404 FTE - £12,65  per hour, starting salary

January  2024 Start

We are looking for a Year 2 Maternity cover teacher. You will be part of the KS1 team working with our Year 2 children & Deputy Head. You will need to have a genuine love of working with children, be motivated & reliable. 

3 days a a week. M scale
