For our DT day this term, we used electrical circuits to make Doodlers. 

First, we recapped how to make a simple series circuit with a motor. Then we explored everyday appliances that have a motor e.g. fans and food mixers

Next, we looked at how the Doodlers worked and we designed our own. 

We then attached an electrical circuit with a motor onto a cup. We also attached a small piece of a glue gun stick to the motor axle in order to off set the balance of the cup when the motor was running. We attached 4 felt tip pens as legs and then we added our own decorations to our Doodlers. 

Finally, we tested our Doodlers on large pieces of paper. We loved the patterns that were created!
